He was the first investor ever to close a startup investment over Snapchat ($25,000 in five minutes), an early investor in Eaze, the fastest-growing on-demand company of 2016, and Wheelys Café, INC's Top 15 to watch. He bought and publicly championed Bitcoin below $300 and wrote seed cheques into Ripple, Hedera Hashgraph and Unocoin.
His impact on the blockchain industry, from launching blockchain schools to co-working spaces to speaking at 100+ blockchain events across 25+ countries, earned him an honorary Ph.D. in Blockchain, USA Today's Top Blockchain Expert selection, and Business Insider's Top NFT Expert recognition. As a member of the Forbes Technology Council he writes for Forbes, Entrepreneur, CoinTelegraph, Hackernoon and Binance Square.
Today Evan is General Partner at KOL Capital and Ganesha VC (ganeshvc.com), the funds syndicating Web3's largest influencer network into its best deals and backing frontier AI, Minister of IT of the Free Republic of Liberland, and an investor in leading AI companies such as Anthropic and SpaceX, along with many early-stage upcoming AI startups.
